Maintenance Emergencies

Please leave a short message with your name, apartment number, phone number, and a brief description of the emergency.
- Monday through Thursday after 5:00 PM
- Friday after 12:00 PM
- All day Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays.
The following calls are considered emergencies and will be received by Milan Housing Maintenance Staff.
- No heat when it's below 50 degrees outside.
- No air conditioning when it's above 85 degrees outside. (Any calls received after 6:00 PM will be serviced the next day).
- Fire
- Gas leak or gas odor
- Water flooding apartment.
- Total power failure of unit (not general failure).
- Stopped up commode in Efficiency, 1, 2, and 3 bedroom apartments with one bathroom.
- Pilot light out on cookstove.
- Total outage of refrigerator.
- The smoke alarm is not working.
If an emergency, call 911.
Fire, Police, and/or Ambulance.

* If maintenance comes out and considers your call not to be an emergency, you are subject to a $55.00 service charge, and the work order will be repaired on the next working day.
* Please remember that all emergencies are subject to a service charge.
