Notice Of Changes to Recurring Charges
EFFECTIVE January 1, 2024
In addition to rent the monthly service fees or charges that are charged by utility service providers to provide service to each dwelling unit are "passed through" to each household. The monthly service fee charged by the Milan Public Utility Department is currently $21.49 per month for electric service. (All dwelling units have electric service and are charged this service fee.)
The monthly service fee charged by the Milan Public Utility Department for Trash Collection is $10.86 per apartment. (All apartments are provided Trash Collection service.) (*Note: This charge is currently being waived. Notice will be provided at least thirty days before this charge is reinstated).
The monthly service fee charged by Gibson County Utility District has increased from $10.00 to $12.00 per month for dwelling units with natural gas. (Not all dwelling units have gas service. Only dwelling units with gas service are charged this service fee)

A $5.00 Lawn Mowing Charge has historically been added to all accounts during the months of April through October (seven months). (*Note: This charge is currently being waived. Notice will be provided at least thirty days before this charge is reinstated).
The above charges are recurring and are due each month. Please add these charges to your monthly rent payment. These charges are considered late if not paid by the sixth day of the month.
